1. Overview

Bentamatic ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit bentamatic.com, submit an application, or become a client, how we use it, and the rights you have under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules. We keep this in plain English on purpose.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you submit an application: your name, business name, mobile number, email, how your business is doing, and anything you write in the message field. When you become a client: billing details, business content (photos, logos, text), and login credentials for the dashboard we set up for you.
  • Information collected automatically. When you visit our site: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, time on page, referring site, and similar analytics data, collected through cookies and similar tools (see Section 7).
  • Information from platforms you connect. If you connect your Facebook page, Google Business Profile, or other accounts to the system we build for you, we receive the data those platforms share, limited to what is needed to run the system.

3. How we use it

  • To review your application and contact you by email or phone to schedule a demo call.
  • To deliver, operate, and support the services you signed up for.
  • To send you proposals, invoices, and service updates once you become a client.
  • To send tips, promos, and news about Bentamatic, which you can opt out of anytime.
  • To improve our website and services, and to keep them secure.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We rely on your consent, our contract with you, our legitimate business interests, and our legal obligations as the lawful bases for processing, as allowed under RA 10173.

4. Contact and consent

By submitting your details on this website, you agree to be contacted by Bentamatic by email or phone about your application and our services. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying to any email from us or telling us on a call, and we will. We will never sell your number or email to anyone.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us run our business, such as hosting, our automation and CRM platform, email delivery providers, payment processors, and analytics tools. They may only use your data to provide services to us.
  • Platforms you choose to connect, such as Google and Meta, as needed to run the system you asked for.
  • Authorities, when required by law, a court order, or to protect our legal rights.

Some of our providers store data outside the Philippines (for example, in the United States). When this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your data stays protected to a standard consistent with Philippine law.

6. Client customer data

If you are a Bentamatic client, the system we build for you collects and stores your own customers' information (names, numbers, messages, bookings, reviews). For that data, you are the personal information controller and Bentamatic acts as a processor on your behalf. We only process your customers' data to run your system, follow your instructions, keep it secure, and we do not use it for our own marketing. You are responsible for collecting it lawfully and for honoring your customers' privacy rights. We will help you do so.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for basic functionality, analytics (such as Google Analytics), and advertising measurement (such as the Meta Pixel), so we can understand how visitors use the site and show relevant ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

8. How we protect it

We use reasonable organizational, physical, and technical measures to protect personal information, including SSL encryption on our website, access controls, secure third-party platforms, and limiting access to people who need it. No system is 100% secure, but we take this seriously and will notify you and the National Privacy Commission as required by law if a breach affecting your data occurs.

9. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, to fulfill our contract with you, and to meet legal and accounting requirements. Inquiry data from people who do not become clients is generally deleted within 24 months of the last contact. Client data is kept for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period afterward, after which it is deleted or anonymized, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

10. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access your personal data, to correct it, to object to processing, to request erasure or blocking, to data portability, to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission, and to be indemnified for damages caused by unlawful processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the form on our Contact page. We will respond within 15 business days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

11. Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify active clients by email or message.
